In this evolving crisis, my colleagues and I are working hard to serve our clients and our community, responsively and responsibly.
Presently, the civil courts and many county offices are effectively closed. The Surrogate's Office in Mercer County and in other counties throughout the state are working hard to keep vital services operating while their offices remain closed.
The need for estate planning is urgent for some of our clients, and it presents particular complications. We have a proctol for making Wills, health care directives, and financial powers of attorney, with no direct in-person contact. In compliance with Executive Order 107, we have another protocol for making stop-gap Wills without needing the client to leave home. Please contact me or my staff to discuss how we are handling estate plannning.
In compliance with Governor Murphy's Executive Order, and consistent with our civic duty to do what we can to mitigate the strain on our medical resources, our location is closed to the public. We can be reached 24 hours a day for the duration of this crisis. If you have any difficulty reaching us, please dial our main number and enter extension 7.
The health and safety of our clients and our community is our top priority.
Thank you for your trust, and please be safe.
